Here are a few tips to help gain more followers and have a more successful tumblr!

Be nice to your followers

People don’t like following rude people. Instead, try to get to know some people who follow you. Also try make everyone feel welcome and like they can talk to you.

Be active

No one wants to follow a blog that posts every sometimes.To stop this, have a queue set. I have a queue set for all day. Make sure your queue is always over 200 posts because you never know when you might need it!

Get your name out there

In a crowd full of blogs making your blog stand out is pretty important. Make networks, groups, promos and anything else that will get people more familiar with your url.

Be you

Don't try be like someone else or fake your personality to get poeple to like you. Having YOUR personality shine through your blog is really important. Do honesty hours, gif hours, and anything that lets you be yourself. Your followers will get to know you more this way!

Have a blog style

Try to stick up to one blog style, so your followers won't get confused to what you post. Also you will attract more of the same style. for example if your rosy, more rosy blogs will follow you.

Your url

Have a unique url that is easy to read and remember. Also don't change it too much.Try stick with one url.Other wise people won't know who you are or know which url you are using.

Not too many promos

Promos are nice once in a while but try not to make them the only way you gain followers. Try use tumblr plug or participate in other people's promo games or BOTW's etc. That way your blog doesnt look all messy with promo stuff all the time. People will tend to unfollow as they get the impression all you care abour is followers if you do too many promo's. This is why it's important not to do too many

Have a good theme

Making sure your blog looks amazing is essential. Don't be afraid to edit your theme and change stuff around with your blog. There is always something you can change or add to it to make it even better! And if your no good with html there are lots of people who do blog makeovers or will be happy to help you out!
